Go 2 School Initiative Uganda (G2SU) is a non-profit organization, founded on November 12, 2018 in Uganda. We are committed to supporting underprivileged children for whom access to education is not a given. Many of these children grow up in poverty and start life with a significant disadvantage. In order to attend school, families are also required to cover various costs such as school supplies and meals - expenses that are simply unaffordable for many. As a result, children from the poorest families fall behind and often remain trapped in a cycle of poverty.
Driven by our Christian motivation, we seek to bring change. We believe that every child has the right to education and a fair chance at a better future. That is why we provide support with school supplies, tuition fees, and improved facilities such as clean water and sanitation. In this way, we give children the opportunity to go to school, develop themselves, and build a stronger future.

Jedson has more than 10 years of experience in social work. After working with various NGOs in Uganda, he founded Go 2 School Initiative Uganda in 2018. He focuses on fundraising.

Four board members based in the Netherlands support Go 2 School Initiative Uganda on a voluntary basis.
In addition, we have team members based in Uganda.
Renate is a cultural anthropologist, social worker, and teacher. Her knowledge gives her a deep understanding of how children can become trapped in a cycle of poverty, and she has contributed significantly to various NGO projects.
Ruurd is a retired businessman. With his experience, he knows how to achieve goals by following a clear vision and aligning an organization with it. He believes that education leads to development, and development leads out of poverty.
Eric Wampande
Accountant
Eric has experience in finance roles across several sectors, including fintech, healthcare, and the public sector. He is actively involved in community initiatives through the Rotary Club and is currently working towards his CPA qualification.
Shadius produces visual content, including videography and photography. He joined us inspired by the positive impact of the organization in Uganda and supports our mission with his creative expertise.
Wilma is a highly skilled and dedicated social worker. She is responsible for, among other things, the finances. Her greatest passion is fundraising for the children and sourcing materials for them through generous donors.

Peter is a certified public accountant and a lecturer at Nkumba University. He combines strong financial discipline with a community-oriented vision, aiming to create lasting impact in underserved communities.
